High Strung Creations' jewelry portfolio has been artistically crafted by its co-founder Arlene L. Kronthal since 2003. She
earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University
of Illinois, Champaign. Arlene has over 15 years of merchandising
experience in the retail fashion industry.
Her uniquely designed jewelry is crafted with semi-precious stones Austrian Crystal, and blends an interesting variety of artisanal
beads with her innovative designs. Arlene's hand crafted wearables
utilize hand selected materials aquired by exploring global resource
market places of Asia, Europe, and the American Southwest.
Her custom design work is distinguished by incorporating her clients
personal requests. She has exhibited her work at The Flat Iron Gallery
23 in Wicker Park, Il., Lakeside Interiors in Wilmette, Il., and throughout
Chicago's North Shore.
Her designs are continuously evolving. They incorporate innovations
and techniques that are inspired by her participation in seminars
and National Gem & Mineral shows. She also attends classes at Local beading
workshops and National conferences.

The Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center has selected High Strung Creation's artful jewelry designs for its historic grand opening starting April 19, 2009.
