about

High Strung Creations' jewelry portfolio has been artistically crafted by its co-founder Arlene L. Kronthal since 2003. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Illinois, Champaign. Arlene has over 15 years of merchandising experience in the retail fashion industry.

Her uniquely designed jewelry is crafted with semi-precious stones Austrian Crystal, and blends an interesting variety of artisanal beads with her innovative designs. Arlene's hand crafted wearables utilize hand selected materials aquired by exploring global resource market places of Asia, Europe, and the American Southwest.

Her custom design work is distinguished by incorporating her clients personal requests. She has exhibited her work at The Flat Iron Gallery 23 in Wicker Park, Il., Lakeside Interiors in Wilmette, Il., and throughout Chicago's North Shore.

Her designs are continuously evolving. They incorporate innovations and techniques that are inspired by her participation in seminars and National Gem & Mineral shows. She also attends classes at Local beading workshops and National conferences.
